In March of 2022, I was chosen to partake in a leadership class with the TD Jakes Divinity School where I learned from some of the most influential women in the country under the direction of Bishop TD Jakes and First Lady Serita Jakes.
It's a 6 session course where we divided into topics like Balancing Work and Life, Communication, Leadership Styles so much more. This course has truly made me a better leader and I wanna share it with you.
Girl Talk
As women, sometimes it is hard for us to talk about how we really feel. Who can we trust? In a effort to not have all our business in the street, we just hold it all in and over time we become bitter and resentful. It's time for us ladies to talk. If you are not comfortable with talking, you can show up just to listen. All of us have wisdom in some area or another that can be shared to help someone else. This class will meet weekly.
Queens Only
This class is by invitation only. While all of us women have Queens inside of us, sometimes we have to let that inner part of us grow up and mature before we can really hold that crown. This class is for mature women, not determined by age but according to the season you are currently in. No mess, no petty, just ladies who are holding it down and ready to go higher. This class will meet twice a month.
Book Club
All ages and all genders are welcome. This class if for my peeps who love to read a good book and have a space to discuss the book. All members can suggest books. We will meet twice a month.
